Join the NHA for an evening exploring the Marquesas with anthropologist Emily Donaldson. From the Essex crewmen’s near brush with the Marquesas to broader history of the island and darker stories of cannibalism, Emily Donaldson will share her personal experiences researching on the island and look into the effect of the island’s history on the lives of contemporary islanders and tourists.
