Nantucket Girl, a new CD by Susan J. Berman, traverses history and life's poetic mysteries. Including 12 original songs and one cover, Nantucket Girl presents a collection of songs for maritime enthusiasts, adventurers, history lovers, and those who delve deep. Several songs were inspired by Nantucket's rich history and its remarkable citizens. Other songs have more universal themes. With the upbeat and punchy "Nantucket Girl's Song," bluesy, "I've Never Tasted Love," country song, "Where Are You Driving Me Tonight?" and the poignant ballad, "Leave the Hall Light On," Susan takes listeners on a musical journey that transcends time.

Based in Nantucket, MA, singer/songwriter Susan J. Berman plays an eclectic mix of musical styles from Broadway to bluegrass. Her inspirations come from a variety of sources including the captivating, historic island of Nantucket that she calls home.
